I have attended several Wilt Reunions in the past years and every time I am asked, "Just how are we related"?       I know it is difficult to distinguish between branches of the same family after a few generations of marriages and taking into consideration how mobile families have become in the last 100 years. With this small chart I have tried to compare the relationship among the Wilt Family branches that I have done research. I hope this may give others the information to compare and to place themselves within the Wilt Family. Family #1 can be found mostly in Garrett County, MD and Preston County, WV Family #2 can be found in the same area of Garrett County, MD and Preston County, WV Family #3 can be found in Tucker County, WV. Family #4 can be found in Garrett County, MD and migrated to Harrison County, WV in the mid 1920s.
