Brenda Lee Fazenbaker
BLOOMINGTON — Brenda Lee Fazenbaker, 59, North Branch Ave., Bloomington, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017.
Born on March 20, 1958, in Ohio, she was a daughter of Norma (Bittinger) Wilt, Ohio, and the late Cecil Wilt.
Brenda was a member of Bloomington United Methodist Church, and a member of the Bloomington Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a caregiver for many people, young and old. Her greatest passion was her grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, Norma, she leaves behind her husband, Randy “Chick” Fazenbaker; a daughter, Lisa Bruckey and husband Jay, Swanton; a son, “Bud” Fazenbaker and wife Erica, Bloomington; a brother, Rob Wilt and wife Kelly, Ohio; a sister, Vicki Collmar and husband Tom, Ohio; and her grandchildren, the joys of her life, Halee Bruckey, Rhilynn Fazenbaker, Morgan Bruckey, Kenadee Bruckey, Kailee Fazenbaker, and Bryant Bruckey. She is also survived by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bernie and Sue Fazenbaker, Swanton, and Lana and Gary Bowers, Fort Ashby, West Virginia, and many nieces, nephews, aunt, and uncles, to whom she was very close and loved with all her heart.
As per Brenda’s wishes, her body was cremated.
Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, this Friday, Dec. 1, from noon to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
A memorial service will immediately follow the visitation on Friday at approximately 6 p.m, with Rev. Tom Matthews officiating.

Leona Catherine Broadwater

GRANTSVILLE — Leona Catherine (Rounds) Broadwater, 86, Grantsville, passed away on Friday, Oct. 20, 2017, at Frostburg Village Nursing Home, Frostburg.
Born on Feb. 8, 1931, in Fairview, she was a daughter of the late Floyd and Sarah Jane (Broadwater) Rounds.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Walter Broadwater, whom she married on June 6, 1954; and 11 brothers and sisters, Bertha Dorsey, Olin Rounds, Loyn Rounds, Arthur Rounds, Vergie MacMillan, Irvin Rounds, Carl Rounds, Minor Rounds, Arlie Rounds, Violet Rounds, and Thelma Broadwater.
Leona was employed as a dietician, working for Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville. She was a member of Oak Grove Mennonite Church.
Leona enjoyed cooking, baking, canning, and gardening, and would quilt in her spare time. She loved to laugh and tell jokes to her friends and family.
She is survived by two daughters, Louise C. Dunton and husband Kevin L., Rosedale, Karen S. Wiley and husband James, Grantsville; three grandchildren, Eric K. Dunton, Elizabeth A. White, and Jared J. Wiley; and four great-grandchildren, Corinne T. Dunton, Nathaniel E. Dunton, Emma J. White, and Julia B. White.
At her request, her body was cremated, and interment was private.
Newman Funeral Homes, P.A. 179 Miller St., Grantsville, was in charge of her arrangements.
