CLARKSBURG — Carolyn Jean Sirk, 67, of Clarksburg, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2007, in Florida following an extended illness.
She was born February 20, 1940, in Clarksburg, the daughter of the late Carlo J. Fragman and Katie Minardi Fragman.
Mrs. Sirk was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Allen Sirk in 2004.
She is survived by two sons, Ronald Allen Sirk of Naples, FL, and Carl Anthony Sirk and wife Cathy of Parkersburg; one daughter, Katerine Marie Hannah of Spelter; one sister, Rebecca Raider of Clarksburg; six grandchildren, Kara Nichole Hannah, Kayla Marie Hannah, Michael Anthony Sirk, Katherine Marie Sirk, Margaret Ann Sirk and Brittany Ann Sirk; two great-grandchildren, Timothy Allen Jones and James Bryant Jones; and several aunts and uncles.
Mrs. Sirk was previously employed as a floral designer with Floral D/cor.
Family and friends will be received at the Davis Funeral Home, One Olen Thomas Dr./Rt. 98, Clarksburg, from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, where services will be held at noon Friday, January 4, 2008, with the Reverend Vi Carter officiating. NUTTER FORT — Katie M. Fragman, 98, of Stonewood, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2016, at her residence following an extended illness.
She was born in Meadowbrook, WV, on July 25, 1918, a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Cody Minard.
She was married to Carlo J. Fragman, who preceded her in death in 1994.
Surviving are one daughter, Rebecca Reader and her husband Rick of Clarksburg; six grandchildren, Jonathan Reader, Jeffrey Reader, Joshua Reader, Ron Sirk, Kathy Hannah and Carl Sirk; 11 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lucille Henline of North View.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Carolyn Jean Sirk; and several brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Fragman was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, where Catholic Burial Rites will be held on Friday, November 4, 2016, at 10 a.m. with Reverend Father Kent Durig presiding. Interment will be in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
