Burial:

Individual Note:
John Patrick "Gribb" Gribble was 52 when he left this life on Saturday, June 15, 2013 to join his parents, the late John Marston Gribble who passed from this life just last year and Glenna Claudine Shaffer Gribble who passed from this life in 1981. Although his death was sudden and unexpected, he was doing one of the things he loved which was spending time with friends.

Gribb was born Monday, June 27, 1960 in Gallipolis, OH and attended the schools of Tucker County having graduated from Tucker County High School in 1979. He had worked various jobs in the Parsons area including Asplundh, and most recently had been working for Parsons Woodworking. He loved hunting, fishing, being outdoors, spending time with his buddies, and especially enjoyed listening to music. He was also a very good at cooking on the grill. He had a great sense of humor with which he used to make those around him laugh and enjoy his company all the more.

Left to cherish Gribb’s memory is his sister, Catherine "Cathy" Jones and her husband, Ronnie of Hambleton, his niece, Kerstin Jones, several cousins, and his many friends.

Visitation will be held at the Summerfield Funeral Home on Friday from 5 until 8PM. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home chapel on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 11AM. Reverend Mike Lantz will officiate and interment will follow at Parsons City Cemetery.
