Charles T. Stiles, 95, of Star Route, Hundred, White Creek community, died Tuesday, June 27, 2000, at home.
He was born March 21, 1905, at Crossroads, son of the late James Presley and Bertha White Stiles.
He was a retired oil and gas field worker.
He is survived by three sons and spouses, William "Bill" and Sherlene Stiles and Gary and Jane Stiles, all of Hundred, and Charles Gerald and Pat Stiles, of Newton Falls, Ohio; two brothers, John Stiles, of Rivesville, and Albert Stiles, of New Cumberlan d; two sisters, Mattie Smith, of Florida, and Jessie Frame, of Fairmont; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Mary Alice Stiles, Sept. 22, 1982; two daughters, Thelma Maxwell, and Wilma Henderson; a daughter in infancy; seven brothers and sisters.
There will be no viewing. Service will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 30 at Oak Forest United Methodist Church with the Rev. Rose Saunders officiating. Burial will be in Oak Forest Cemetery. Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville is in charge of arrangements.
