Obituary for Raymond Burl Stiles
Raymond Burl Stiles, 76, of Weston formerly of Shinnston passed away Friday, September 18, 2015 at Embassy Health Garden Court Dayton, Ohio.
He was born June 7, 1939 in Shinnston; son of the late Willie Edgar and Elsie Marie Fortney Stiles.
Raymond is survived by two sisters, Ruth Duffield of Akron, OH, Arwilla “Billie” and husband David Parrish of Port Saint Lucy, FL; special niece, Connie Brumage and husband Ken of Fairmont; several other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Martha Gates, Jean Kester, Helen Butcher; three brothers, Edgar Marshall, Darrell and David Stiles.
Raymond loved to play guitar, piano, cards; he also enjoyed animals, county fairs, participated in Special Olympics and was a member of ARC.
Family will receive friends at Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 S. Pike St, Shinnston, on Friday, September 25, 2015 from 4:00-8:00pm; funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 11:00am with Pastor Brad Blanchard officiating. Interment will follow at Fortney Cemetery, at Nutter Run Road, Williams Mines.
