Luann Stiles, 80, of Reedsville, died Sunday, February 11, 2018 at home with family by her side.
She was born June 20, 1937, in Crellin, MD to the late Lester and Olive Solomon.
Luann was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an animal lover and loved to crochet and spend time with her family.
She is also survived by her husband Daniel; brothers, Robert Solomon of Reedsville, WV and Neal Solomon of Terra Alta, WV; sons, Rodney McMillen and Darlene of Dixon, KY, Daniel Lee Stiles, Jr. and Ida of Longbeach, CA; daughters Jeannie Stiles and Steven of Reedsville, WV, Vicki Whitledge of Winnabow, NC and Jody Stiles of Madisonville, KY.
A private family burial service was performed at Garrett Memorial Gardens in Oakland, MD.

Sandra Kay Stiles Friend, 64, of Terra Alta died Saturday April 26, 2014 at Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland MD. The daughter of the late Amos and Josephine Bender Stiles, she was born October 17, 1949 in Centenary, WV. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. Before becoming a stay at home mom she was employed by Kenny Shoe Company and the Terra Alta Sewing Plant. She also devoted her time as a Brownie and Girls Scout Troop leader for many years. She is survived by two daughters and spouses, Audri K. and Donald Dillsworth of Terra Alta, WV, and Nichole and David Streets of Flemington, WV; a son and spouse Eric and Ashlee Friend of Evansville, IN; eight grandchildren Jakob, Braden and Brogen Dillsworth, Josephine, Clayton and baby boy Friend on the way, and Eli and Ella Streets; a special niece Robin Pape of Craig, CO; three sisters and spouses, Eleanor "Sis" Kraft of Bruceton Mills, WV, Sharon and Richard Foster Jr. of Irwin, PA, and Evelyn and Johnny Thompson of Clay, KY; five brothers and spouses James and Donna Stiles of Windham OH, Julius "Dewy" and Sharon Stiles of Morgantown, WV, Daniel and Luann Stiles of Dixon, KY, Jackie Stiles of Albright, WV, Edward and Chris Hinkle of Millville, NJ; a sister in-law Nancy Stiles of Whetsell Settlement, WV, and many loved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Audra Clay Friend on January 13, 2014, brother Richard Stiles, and beloved nephew Robert "Robbie" Kraft. Family and friends will be received at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, Terra Alta on Thursday from 4-9:00 p.m. and Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the 12:00 noon time of service with Pastor Stanley Waybright officiating.
