Annie Marie O'Haver Haddock
Anna Marie Haddock, 81 formerly of Morgantown, and of Edgewood Street in Wheeling, died Saturday Nov 11, 1989
She was born April 17, 1908 of the late Martin R. and Lillie Wilt O'Haver. She was a retired registered nurse, a graduate of the Monogalia General Hospital School of Nursing, and for several years she worked at the Monongalia General Hospital and for WVU Health Services in Morgantown. She also was an industrial nurse at the DuPont Chemical Co. in Morgantown.
She entered the U. S. Army Nursing Corps and served in both WWII and Korean Conflict. She was a meth by faith. She is survived by one daughter, Jean H. Hitchens, of Columbus, Ohio; one granddaughter Leslie Marie Kelnhofer of ?Bellington? Washington; two sisters ? Rimlinger and Alma Berry of Morgantown; and three great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Haddock; one daughter Betty McArdle; three sisters; and two brothers.
Friends may call at the Hastings Funeral home from noon- p.m. Tuesday Nove 14, time of services at the funeral homw with the Rev. Jeff N. Winter officiating ? will be in the East Oakland Cemetery.

Born May 12, 1922, in Jennings, she was a daughter of the late Nelson T. and Fannie R (Brukholder) Wilt. She was also preceded in death by her first husband of 29 years, Russel N. Merrill, on Feb 25, 1973, and many brothers and sisters.
She was a member of the Apostolic Lighthouse Church. Surviving are her husband, Frank R. Compton Jr., Resident of the Lions manor Nursing Home, two daughters, Sharon Sisler, Bessemer, NC and Ruth Hite, Mount Savage, Four sons, Norman Merrill, district Heights, willard Merrill and Carlton Merrill, both of Salisbury, PA and Larry Merrill Mayersdale, PA one sister, Edna Miller, Mt. Davis, numerous grand children and great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
