SHINNSTON — Wanda McGhee Dillaman, 87, of Shinnston, passed away on January 8, 2013, at the Heartland of Clarksburg.
She was born on February 20, 1925, in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of the late Archie and Ella McGhee.
Wanda was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Dillaman.
She is survived by two children, Charles P. Dillaman and wife Karen of Key Largo, FL, and Joyce Reitkovich of Shinnston; three grandchildren, Randy Riegel and wife Dawnann of Steubenville, OH, Kristy Reitkovich of Shinnston, and Julie Manual and husband Jeff of Lexington, NC; five great-grandchildren, Carson, Cooper, Kyleigh, Karissa and Jacob; three brothers, Paul McGhee and wife Phyllis of FL, Don McGhee and wife Virginia of FL, and Tom McGhee and wife Gerry of Ohio; and one sister, Evelyn Snyder of Ohio.
In addition to her husband and parents, Wanda was preceded in death by three brothers, Arch, Chuck and Bob McGhee, and her son-in-laws, Mike Reitkovich and Darcy Riegel.
She was a resident for the past year of Heartland of Clarksburg and leaves behind a caring staff and many friends.
Wanda was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Shinnston. She was employed by the Bank of Shinnston for 23 years.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013, at 3 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 64 Rebecca St., Shinnston, WV 26431. One hour prior to the service, family members will receive visitors who cannot attend the service.
