Tribune Chronicle

WARREN - Robert "Bob" Stiles, lovingly known to his family as "Butch" was certainly one of a kind

He was the only son born to the late Lawrence Ralph and Bonnie McIe Stiles.

Born in Morgantown, W.Va., Butch was raised in Johnston and graduated from Maplewood High in 1967 where he met and then married his first wife, Dawn Griffin. One daughter was born of this marriage, Teresa (Tracy) Renee' Stiles. She and her husband, Steven Morbitzer have two children, Rachael and Slane.

He lived many lives in his short 64 years on this earth, and will missed by many, especially his only sister, Sheila Stiles of New Port Richey, Fla.

Bob is survived by many family members who loved him, including his aunt and uncle, Peggy and Carl Coombs of Newton Falls; cousins, Brenda Stiles Reinhart of Howland, Mary Kathryn Stiles (Dave) Zimmerman of Farmdale, Lynn and Brian Coombs of Newton Falls, Michael (Holly) Fisher of Leavittsburg and many more throughout the country.

As in all families, some stories don't end well and a second marriage estranged him from his family. That did not stop him from periodically reaching out and on several occasions when his sister would come to Ohio from Florida, he was able to make time and meet her to share stories and laughter of times past. As he always told her, "blood will always be thicker than water ."
