Merle Miller


 


Merle Morris Miller was born June 18, 1910, a daughter of Vinson Milo and Gertie Maude Fortney Morris. She married Ralph E. Miller, Dec. 22, 1934.


Surviving are two sons, David R. (Jackie) Miller and Jimmie G. (Toni) Miller; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jan. 22, 1980; her daughter, Sue Ann Miller, her brothers, George Ralph Morris, Hubert Vinson Morris, James Victor Morris and Robert Fred Morris; and two sisters, Betty Jean Morris and Margaret Jean Morris.

Merle Morris Miller was born June 18, 1910, a daughter of Vinson Milo and Gertie Maude Fortney Morris. She married Ralph E. Miller, Dec. 22, 1934.

George W. Morris, formerly of this county, died in Mannington, W. Va., Friday, September 11, aged 69 years. Mr. Morris was a son of Henry and Eliza Morris, deceased, and was born in Whiteley township. He removed to Mannington about twenty years ago where he had since resided. He had engaged in farming ans stock raising while in Greene county. He was a member of the Methodist Protestant church. Beside his wife he is survived by two sons and two daughters. The following brothers and sisters also survive: John Morris, Waynesburg; Andrew J. and Milton Morris, Waynesburg R. D. 3; and Mrs. Jacob (Caroline)Hatfield, of Mt. Morris.
