She was preceded in death by both her first husband, George Ernest Green; and her second husband, James L. Thornton.
Mildred was a member of the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church. She was a former employee of the Marion County Senior Citizens where she served as a Senior Aid. She was a past member of the Fairmont Coin Club as well as a member of the Fairmont Lions Club. She was a member of the White Shrine and past member of the Easter Seals. She was active with the Democratic Party in Marion County and a former member of the Rock Lake Club.
Mildred enjoyed reading and baking.

Friends and family may call the Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, on Sunday from 1-3 p.m. The funeral will be held in the funeral home on Sunday at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Jim Zinn officiating. Interment will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Fairmont. Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Jessie G. Stiles, age 75, of New Martinsville, WV passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. He was born October 31, 1941 in Proctor, WV, the son of the late
Charles and Sarah Gray Stiles Jr.
He was a retired laborer for the City of New Martinsville Street Department. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Marilyn Leasure Stiles; six sons,
John Stiles, Richard Stiles, Joe Stiles, Billy Stiles and Michael Stiles all of New Martinsville, and Brian (Melissa) Stiles of Middlebourne, WV; one daughter,

Lashare, G. Roger, age 62, Loving Husband, Father & Grandfather died Tuesday, July 31, 2007 in Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, WV.
He was born August 5, 1944 in Moundsville the son of the late Arthur and Mary Stern Lashare.He was a self-employed contract laborer and a Protestant by faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters. Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Marla Jo Lancaster Lashare; six children,
Trudy Sullivan of Parkersburg, WV, Tracy (Henry) Meuer of West Salem, OH, Trina Schneider of NC, Michael, Roger and Shaun Lashare, all of Moundsville; a sister, Marilyn (Jess) Stiles
of New Martinsville, two brothers, George (Thelma) Lashare and Sidney Lashare, all of Moundville; and six grandchildren, Heather, Misty and Kendrick Meuer, Kyle Cochran,
Morgan Schneider and Laikyn Lashare. Family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Avenue, Moundsville where funeral services will be held Friday at 3pm with Rev. Tom Tennant officiating.
