Patricia Ann "Dutch" Stevens
June 11, 1934 - February 28, 2019
Patricia Ann "Dutch" Stevens, beloved wife, sister, aunt and friend, of Morgantown, and formerly of Rivesville, WV passed from this life to her heavenly home early Thursday morning, February 28, 2019 at Evergreen Assisted Living in Morgantown, at the age of 84.


She was born June 11, 1934 in Brave, PA, a daughter of the late Robert and the late Mildred (White) Snyder.


Survivors include her husband Clifford Stevens; her step-daughter, Sandy McComas and her son, Steve McComas of Daytona, FL; her sister, Jan Stiles of Blacksville; her brother, Rodney Snyder and wife Teresa of Hesston, KS; nephews Steve Stiles and wife Ronda, Rob Kotti, Shawn Snyder and wife Christie; and nieces Marcia Peoples and husband Jim and Shannon Bachman and husband Randy, as well as several great nieces and nephews.


Dutch previously worked for Westinghouse in Fairmont and the Robinson Run Mine UMWA. She attended the Highland Ave. United Methodist Church and Rivesville United Methodist Church. She was active in A.A., and was a long-time member of the Fairmont Monday Night Group.


She loved her family, the outdoors, fishing, flower gardening and sports - especially Pirates baseball.


The family wishes to thank Lori Rankin, the Director of Assisted Living at Evergreen, and her compassionate and amazing staff for the care they have provided. They also wish to thank WV Caring Hospice for their assistance and support.


Friends may join the family to honor Dutch's life & and legacy at Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Ave., Westover on Sunday , March 3, 2019 from 3:00-6:00 PM and again on Monday, March 4th from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM officiated by pastor Stephen Dodrill.


Family and friends will then gather at Greene County Memorial Park in Waynesburg, PA at 1:00 PM on Monday for Dutch's graveside committal service.

Obituary of David Hertzog
David Hertzog 79, of Nicholson Loop Morgantown, passed away Thursday, October 25th at
his home with his loving family and friends by his side.
David was born in Morgantown on June 19, 1939. The son of the Frederick and the Vernie
"Hart" Hertzog.
David was a member of Burns Chapel Church. He will always be remembered for having a
smile on his face and for his hard-working nature.
He retired as a coal miner after 38 years. His was passionate about camping, mowing
grass, going to the auctions, and most of all enjoying his family.
He is survived by his two daughters; Lillie Nicholson and husband, Marvin, and Tracy
Blaney and husband, Jamie, his daughter-in-law, Tammy Hertzog, (his third daughter);
six grandchildren, Jonathon Nicholson and wife, Tiffany, Alicia Austin, and husband,
Brian, Jessica Jefferson and husband, Dickie, Jamie Blaney, Jr., and wife, Stephanie,
Heather Lawhun, and husband, Jack, Morgan Hertzog and companion, Mark; along with ten
great grandchildren and step grandchildren which he loved dearly.
He is also survived by one brother, Donald Hertzog, and wife, Jeannie, one sister,
Juanita "Sis" Hertzog; a special brother-in-law, Ronnie Gray and wife, Jean, and three
special sister-in-laws.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie, of 60 years; son, David "Bruce" Hertzog;
his father and mother, Fredrick and Vernie; along with three brothers and one sister.
David enjoyed his childhood friends, Ronnie Gilmore, Lonnie Woody, his loving companion,
his dog, Tucker, and all of his cemetery friends.

David Bruce Hertzog
March 05, 1960 - July 31, 2011
David Bruce' Hertzog, 51 of Nicholson Loop Morgantown passed away Sunday July 31, 2011.
He was born March 5, 1960 in Morgantown a son to David and Carrie Dalton Hertzog. Bruce
owned and operated Bruce's Countryside Auto. He loved hunting and riding his 4-wheeler.
He always had a smile on his face. In addition to his parents he is survived the love of
his life for 30 years Tammy Dalton Hertzog; loving daughters Alicia Austin and husband
Brian, Jessica Hertzog and companion Richard Jefferson all of Morgantown, and Morgan
Hertzog at home; his granddaughter Makenna Austin whom was the light of his life; his
dog and companion Brutus; his best friend work companion and son that he never had Willie
Gibson; and his best friend Darrel Junie' Blosser and all of his garage buddies. Bruce
is also survived by sisters Lillie Mae Nicholson and husband Marvin, and Tracy Blaney
and husband Jamie all of Nicholson Loop; sister-in-law Tina Hilling and husband Rick;
sister-in-law Sue Dalton and husband Joey all of Morgantown; brother-in-law Othie
Dalton Jr. and wife Lori of Kingwood; his 2nd mom Sis Hertzog of Kingwood Pike; and
several uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal
grandparents Plummer and Goldie Dalton; and paternal grandparents Fred and Vernie Hertzog.
Friends will be received at Nicholson Chapel Church Wednesday from 11am until time of
funeral services Friday at 11am with Rev. Norma Stimmell officiating. Burial will follow
at Nicholson Chapel Cemetery.
