     VERA MAXINE HOLBERT

SHINNSTON-----Vera Maxine Holbert, 84 of Lake Orion, Michigan, died at 7:59 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2003, at Lake Orion Nursing Home.

She was born May 31, 1919 in Marion County, WV, a daughter of the late Lonnie R. and Arizona V. Martin Sharp. Her husband Forrest D. Holbert, whom she married October 12, 1937,died on March 15, 1978.

She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Boggess and her husband Custer, Paulette Robinson and her husband Richard and one brother, Orville L. Sharp.

Mrs. Holbert was a member of the Church of Christ, Shinnston and the Church of Christ, Rochester, MI.

Friends will be received at the Harmer Funeral Home, Shinnston, from 2-9 p.m. Thursday. A funeral service will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m.,Friday August 1, 2003, wth the Rev. Gary Martin officiating.

Interment will follow at the Shinnston Masonic Cemetery.
